Weight Loss Services LRGHealthcare is pleased to offer the Weight Institute of New Hampshire (WINH), providing comprehensive weight loss options such as; bariatric surgery, lifestyle and nutritional counseling programs, behavioral weight loss and management programs and support programs.

If you're considering weight loss surgery, the Weight Institute of New Hampshire offers free bariatric surgery information sessions the second Tuesday of every month at 3:00 and 5:00 pm at Lakes Region General Hospital. (Check listings for current dates and times)

  • A chance to meet WINH’s bariatric surgeon and weight loss team

The Weight Institute of New Hampshire also offers non-surgical weight loss options such as, OPTIFAST® Weight Management program, nutrition counseling and support groups.  Including a bariatric weight loss support group. You do not have to be a patient of WINH to attend a bariatric support group meeting.

The Weight Institute of New Hampshire is accredited by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). 

A bariatric surgical  center achieves accreditation following a rigorous review process during which it proves that it can maintain certain physical resources, human resources, and standards of practice. WINH meets essential criteria for staffing, training and facility infrastructure and protocols for care, ensuring its ability to support patients with severe obesity. The center also participates in a national data registry that yields semiannual reports on the quality of its processes and outcomes, identifying opportunities for continuous quality improvement.

The Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program works to advance safe, high-quality care for bariatric surgical patients through the accreditation of bariatric surgical centers.
