Water Fitness Classes Offered at Hillside Medical Park


LRGHealthcare is pleased to offer aquatic exercise and fitness activities ranging from Arthritis Foundation classes to strength and conditioning classes. Exercise classes in the therapeutic warm water pool can include walking, jogging, jumping, swimming, kicking, and other recurring activities that improve mobility and cardiovascular function. All classes are taught by professional aquatic therapists and available to the public.

Aquatic exercise and fitness is an excellent, low impact option for individuals of all abilities looking to improve their overall health. Class description, cost and times are listed below:

Arthritis Aquatic Program - Ideal for people with arthritis and other related conditions. The ability to swim is NOT required. Class meets two times per week for eight weeks.
Cost $40
Mondays and Fridays 8:45-9:30AM, 10-11AM, or 11:30AM-12:30PM

Aqua Pilates/Yoga - Meets once per week for eight weeks, the program is based on mat Pilate’s principles and gentle yoga
Cost $35
Mondays 6-6:45PM or Wednesday s 5-5:45PM

Aqua Strength & Conditioning- A strength and endurance building program utilizing buoyancy equipment in the pool. Meets once per week for eight weeks
Cost $35
Mondays 5-5:45PM or Wednesdays 6-6:45PM

Aqua Fit (for Senior Citizens) - Eight week class held in the shallow and deep ends of the pool to build heart strength and burn calories.
Cost $35
Wednesdays 10-10:45AM

W.O.W. Class (Work Off Weight) - Eight week program to help participants with weight loss goals jump start their metabolism. 
Cost $35
Wednesdays 4-4:45PM
