LRGHealthcare Welcomes UNE Medical Students

LACONIA, NH –LRGHealthcare is proud to introduce the 8th group of third year medical students from the University of New England (UNE). These students will be working with LRGHealthcare providers in the for a year completing eight, 6 week rotations in areas such as Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine. The University of New England is located in Biddeford, ME and is a school of Osteopathic Medicine.

Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DO's) are similar to MD's, but through their course of studies and clinical time they are also taught to use their hands to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness and injury with Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment or OMT.
