LRGHealthcare Sells Dalphond Building to HealthFirst

5/24/2017
FRANKLIN, NH – On the morning of Tuesday, May 16, LRGHealthcare finalized the sale of the Arthur Dalphond Building in Franklin to HealthFirst Family Care Center. HealthFirst has occupied the building for the last 21+ years.

LRGHealthcare President and CEO Kevin W. Donovan and HealthFirst President and CEO Richard D. Silverberg closed on the sale with representatives of both organizations in attendance.

A substantial portion of the original renovation and additions to the 841 Central Street building were completed along with the Dalphond family bequeathment in 1997. Arthur himself stipulated the building was to be used, “to help make personal healthcare services available to people of the greater Franklin region.”

“This sale brings in some much-needed funds for LRGHealthcare, reduces our operating expenses, and provides HealthFirst with better positioning to expand into the future,” Donovan stated. “It’s a win-win for LRGHealthcare, HealthFirst, and the community.”

Silverberg noted, “I can’t help but feel proud of all that HealthFirst has achieved over the last two decades in service to the people of the Twin Rivers area. We are truly fortunate to have community partners, such as LRGHealthcare, with whom we collaborate to achieve public health goals.”
