LACONIA- LRGHealthcare President & CEO Tom Clairmont is proud to announce that Marge Kerns has been appointed to Vice President of Clinical Support Services.
“Marge has been a valued member of LRGHealthcare for more than twenty years, and we share her excitement in this new opportunity to become a part of our Senior Leadership Team,” said Tom Clairmont.
Marge joined LRGHealthcare in 1992 as a Staff Pharmacist and was promoted to Director, Pharmacy Services in 1995. She continued in that role adding Co-Director of Medical Safety in 2001. While serving in that position, Marge had shared responsibility for developing and maintaining safe systems throughout LRGHealthcare. She assumed the additional responsibility of Director of Hematology/Oncology in 2012 and was promoted to her current position in mid-April 2013.
Marge received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island and began her career in hospital pharmacy and administration in the Philadelphia area. She has published articles in the area of pharmacy as well as patient safety and is often a speaker throughout the state on associated topics. Marge is a current member of the NH Commission on Healthcare Quality, is active in a number of community organizations, and is a past School Board member and chair in the Laconia School District. She and her husband Tim, reside in Laconia with their three sons.
