LACONIA, NH – LRGHealthcare still has a few seats available in the upcoming Living Well with Diabetes Workshop. If you or someone you care for is living with diabetes and you would like to learn tools and strategies to better manage and live well with this disease, then this workshop is for you!
This free six-week workshop will be offered Tuesdays 9:30 am - 12:00 pm beginning November 6 at Lakes Region General Hospital. Those attending the workshop will apply skills for living a full, healthy life with diabetes, learn to set weekly goals and develop a practical step-by-step plan for improving diabetes care. Weekly topics include managing blood sugar levels, healthy eating, physical activity, relieving stress, and more!
Workshop leaders will guide participants through this proven program developed by the Stanford University School of Medicine. These sessions are ideal for anyone living with diabetes or a caregiver of someone with diabetes.
