Kevin Donovan – President & CEO
Kevin is the President and Chief Executive Officer of LRGHealthcare in Laconia, NH, a position he has held since June, 2016. Prior to joining LRGHealthcare, Kevin was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, VT for six years and has held numerous other positions including serving as a Senior Vice President at the Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH, a Director at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, and a hospital and physician practice leader in various organizations in Massachusetts.
Kevin holds a Master of Health Services Administration degree from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Syracuse University. Kevin is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. Kevin is the President for the Northern New England Association of Healthcare Executives (NNEAHE), a member of the American Hospital Association (AHA) Small and Rural Governing Council, and a member of the New Hampshire Hospital Association Board of Directors.
Kevin lives in Belmont, NH with his four high-school aged children.
Wayne Bennett - Chief Financial Officer
Wayne Bennett comes to LRGHealthcare with 30 years’ experience directing and planning financial activities of complex healthcare systems including serving as CFO for his most recent organization, Franklin Community Health Network (FCHN), which is an $80 million, rural, non-profit healthcare system. Throughout his time at FCHN, he has taken a number of steps to continuously improve its financial position including developing a disciplined annual strategic planning process to assess the overall financial health of the organization and set future financial targets; as well as installing a decision support platform, including cost accounting, to provide better visibility into the financial performance of the organization. Bennett also played a key role in transitioning the organization to the MaineHealth system.
Prior to his time with FCHN, Bennett held various financial leadership positions for several organizations. He served as CFO for both Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, VT and Mercy Health Systems of Maine in Portland as well as Director of Finance for Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cleverly, MD and Vice President of Finance for Central Maine Healthcare in Lewiston. He holds an MBA/MHA from the Institute of Health Administration at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA as well as a BS in Biology from Bates College in Lewiston, ME.
Marge Kerns – Vice President, Clinical Services
Marge Kerns is the Vice President of Clinical Services at LRGHealthcare. She joined the organization in 1992 as a Staff Pharmacist. She was promoted to Director, Pharmacy Services in 1995 and continued in that role until 2001 when she added Co-Directorship of Medical Safety. While serving in that position, Marge had shared responsibility for developing and maintaining safe systems throughout the organization. She assumed the additional responsibility of Director of Hematology/Oncology in 2012 and was promoted to her current position in 2013.
Marge received her BS in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island and began her career in hospital pharmacy and administration in the Philadelphia area. She has published articles in the area of pharmacy as well as patient safety and is often a speaker throughout the state on associated topics. Marge is a current member of the NH Commission on Healthcare Quality, is active in a number of community organizations, and is a past School Board member and chair in the Laconia School District.
Cass Walker – VP/Administrative & Support Services
Cass studied Business Management and Psychology at Lesley College. Beginning her career in banking Cass transitioned to human services where she met her late husband. In 1989 they cofounded Road To Responsibility, a private, nonprofit organization providing services to adults with cognitive and mental health support needs. The organization continues to carry out the mission originally established in supporting the needs of individuals with disabilities.
Cass has worked for LRGHealthcare since 2008 beginning as the HR manager at FRH. Her current role, VP of Administrative & Support Services oversees Human Resources (HR), Education Services, Community Affairs including Philanthropy, Marketing, Public Relations, and Volunteer Services.

Cass lives in Laconia. Her children Alec, Lydia and Emma are attending college in NH and MA.
She is an officer of the Healthcare Human Resources Association of NH, a member ASHHRA, SHRM and holds a PHR certification.
Mitchell B. Jean, Esq. – General Counsel
Mitchell Jean is General Counsel for LRGHealthcare. He joined LRGHealthcare in 2002 as Director of Risk Management and was named General Counsel in 2015. Mr. Jean is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire (1979) and earned his law degree at Franklin Pierce Law Center (now the University of New Hampshire School of Law) in 1983. He is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association.
Paul Onthank – Vice President, Finance
Paul Onthank is the Director of Financial Services. He joined LRGHealthcare in 2007. Mr. Onthank earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Southern New Hampshire.
Mr. Onthank has more than 40 years of healthcare financial management experience in the State of New Hampshire, including Southern NH Health System, Northeast Rehabilitation Network and Hunt Community. He currently serves on the Belknap Economic Committee, Lakes Region Chamber Finance Committee, and the Moultonborough Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Patricia (Patti) Strohla - Interim Vice President, Operations
Patti is an accomplished leader with experience in emergency medicine, critical care, quality improvement, and implementation of electronic medical records (specifically Cerner, where she has gained national experience and attention through numerous installs, projects and consulting engagements). Prior to joining LRGHealthcare, Patti was the Director, Clinical Transformation at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, Vermont where she served as a member of Senior Leadership team and led the Information Technology, Quality, and Ancillary departments and clinical improvement efforts of the organization.
Rebecca Woods - MHINF VP/Provider Services
Prior to LRGHealthcare, Rebecca was Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, VT where she oversaw the Patient Access Center, Provider Scheduling, Information Technology, Compliance, Health Information Management (HIM), Plant Operations and Master Facility Planning.
Rebecca currently holds a B.S. in Communications, a Masters in Healthcare Administration and Informatics, and certification in Project Management. Her work experience prior to Porter Medical Center includes traveling throughout the U.S, Canada and Puerto Rico installing Electronic Health Records for Meditech, as well as the role of senior consultant for Dell Systems.
Woods specializes in applying her expertise and project management knowledge to the healthcare industry where she is able to identify areas of low productivity and work with all teams involved to create process improvement plans.
