|5 ways to combat bad breath|
- Practice good hygiene. Brush at least twice a day, for two to three minutes at a time, and brush your tongue, too. Replace your toothbrush every three or four months. Floss daily and see your dentist regularly.
- Drink plenty of water to wash away odor-causing bacteria.
- Suck on a sugarless mint to stimulate saliva production and eliminate bacteria. Chewing on parsley and using mouth rinse can also get rid of bad breath temporarily.
- Quit smoking.
- Consult your healthcare provider if bad breath persists. It could be a sign of an underlying medical problem
