That aching head!

More than one-third of children get more than one pounding headache a month. Most are tension headaches, but a quarter of children’s headaches are migraines, which leave the head throbbing and may cause nausea and vomiting. Getting enough sleep, limiting caffeine, eating balanced meals and staying hydrated can help keep headaches at bay. If your child’s headaches persist, schedule an appointment with his or her pediatrician.
